Saralisa, Luang and Tuva

Background
We met Luang on the beach last year and he offered to take us out on his boat snorkeling for the day. His 4 year-old daughter Tuva came along, and completely charmed us all with her non-stop commentary on everything we saw and did. After this we all had many days out with Luang showing us many of the nearby islands. Getting to know Luang and his family has really enriched our experience in Thailand. Sara, Luang and Tuva lived on a sailboat in the bay of Railay Beach. A few years ago they built up a small climbing shop and financed their life by offering climbing equipment and courses. Their home, all their belongings and their savings were lost when the tsunami smashed their boat against the rocks destroying it completely. There was flood damage to the climbing shop, and although the shop is now operational, income is scarce as this tourist season has been wiped out by the tsunami.

Our aim is to collect funds to contribute to:
• Daily living expenses
• Tuva's school costs
• Building a new home
